►Internet Setup in D-link router

In networks such as the Internet, a router is a device or, in some cases, software in a computer, that determines the next network point to which a packet should be forwarded toward its destination. They are some specific way on how to setup router,depending on the mode and whether it is wired or wireless.

Here are example of how to setup Internet in D-link router,first you need to access it in http://192.168.0.1 as default gateway. Enter "Admin" in User Name and your password (you can use admin as default password),type captcha code,make sure you do it correctly and  log in.

Click Internet setup and choose Manual Internet Connection Setup.

Select what type of Internet Connection you have,If you are using DSL Internet, you may need to enter the PPPoE username and password. Likewise, if you have been issued a static IP address by your provider (you would need to have requested it), the static IP fields (including network mask and gateway) given to you by the provider must also must be set in the router. Click save and check if you are connected. :)
